Heist - Season One
I wanted to draw/paint up a 'Season 1' image from the DnD Campaign I'm currently in....because I love it xD
Also wanted to challenge myself to an actual illustration, as I find it hard to carry through with them to the end. BUT THIS TIME I PREVAILED. I 'finished' it =D
It's kinda a mid-season 1 pic features the main party characters in the middle, along with some of the main enemy NPCs surrounding them. It was so fun to figure out the overall composition and ESPECIALLY the lighting. Which changed a lot as you can see in the Progression image I've popped into the project.
I did a lot of learning throughout this piece and did some extra lessons in Lighting and Colour to help me push it further along. I also asked for a lot of feedback from work colleagues and my partner =] Definitely couldn't have gotten it this stage without all their support and critiqs!
Took me a loooonnngg time (plus the image is huge - so had to draw the characters separately then pop them in! - my laptop was struggling!) but I think it was worth it.
Now onto the next illustration ;D

O'Goode, Lou, Random Gunman and Jack: Probably my favourite section of the Illustration! Just had the right 'mood'
It also has my character's Nemesis and Father in this shot!
My Character: Athena Pottes - making a thug eat dirt. Ex-Detective who was always the more 'Bad Cop' than 'Good Cop' in her partnership.
I love having a strong-willed character like her! No nonsense!
Eddison Sharpe: The Ex-Military Field Medic who's a crack hand at sniping and cracking open locks!
...but rather clumsy when trying to walk down stairs.
BAGIGI: A dockworker who's stronger than an ox, lips tighter than a bank vault, and with a heart of pure gold.
Major Don Parker: Ex-Miliary Major who sees the world in black & white. Stubborn natured, pragmatic...shoot first, then shoot it again.
Eddie & Sal: Best buds who compliment each other very well. It's just a shame they're the enemy.
Desiree & Reiss: I love Reiss' character - charming, suave and would probably be very good-looking in real life (haha!)
Desiree is the one causing all the smoke in this alleyway!
