Xamf'sha Concept Creation Commission

I was tasked with designing his original species called the Xamf'sha.

This was a super fun project to work on, which also gave me the great opportunity to create some new anatomy artwork!
The main inspirations which creating the Xamf'sha were: Big Cats (such as Caracals and Cheetahs), Birds (with Zygodactyl feet), Humans, Reptiles (Iguanas) and Greyhounds. A lovely interesting spread!
Thinking about how they can function with daily tasks along with being able to run with a predatory feeling was interesting. Giving them elongated limbs and wrists helped a lot with this feature in their design.

I had a ton of fun drawing up the exploration sketches! I could have just kept going for days with those haha. That saying, I could say the same with the colour/pattern iterations!
