Jungle Biologist Character Design

Part of a personal project I am currently working on.
Her main job is to study the local wildlife, out of personal passion and curiosity, therefore her outfit mostly focuses on dexterity and carrying various equipment. Hence, the types of baggage. Her various bags are made from leather, and vary in size/shape to hold different equipment. These have all been sewn together via leather straps and decorated in various colourful threads - for personal decoration and identification (people would know who this item had belonged too if something had gone wrong).
She carries items such as a small woven cage to keep firefly-like creatures in for lighting, vine rope for climbing, abseiling and tying, vials for picking up small insects for studying or substances for future categorising. She has a large side satchel for easy access to her journal which keeps all her notes and sketches - she is writing all her studies down in a book to show her findings to her village at the end of her expedition.
